The EasyLife Plus meters have an updated function that detects expired test strips. Users must set the correct date and time before using the meter. The expiry is also printed on the test strip box and label.
For a blood test, only a small sample is needed and the result will be displayed on the meter after less than a minute.
For a urine test, urine has to be collected over a 24-hour period. All urine has to be collected in a special container from the healthcare provider.
All meters are calibrated at the factory. Before using the meter, insert the yellow check strip included in the starter kit to check if the meter is working properly.
